The 36th Annual Mermaid Parade held in Coney Island, Brooklyn.
The Mermaid Parade is a festive pageant of 3,000 creatively costumed marchers, musicians and others that attracts more than 500,000 spectators to Surf Avenue and the Coney Island Boardwalk.
